Owners Volkan Demirbulakla and Recep Emin Ozaydin, who also goes by Rio, began renovations to the space on May 20th after permits from the town were approved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Read More:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/bergen\/stack-street-coffee-comes-montvale-nj\/\">Stack Street Coffee Takes Over 75,000-Square-Foot Building in Montvale<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Rio, whose primary passion is <a href=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/newjersey\/iconic-new-jersey-film-locations\/\">filmmaking<\/a>, had experience constructing sets but had never completed a project of this scale. However, after a few months of hard work, the business was able to open on Friday, September 11th. They hosted a grand opening event from 1PM-6PM, inviting friends and neighbors to try the coffee shop for the first time. Staff even had vegan Turkish \u201cmeatballs,\u201d which were actually made of lentils, to share with everyone who stopped by.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, the coffee shop has a bar alongside the window with seats and a bench with adjustable trays. There is a spacious countertop complete with an espresso machine and drip coffee setup. They also have a stereo sound system, which the owners hope to use to draw in music lovers as well as coffee fanatics.<\/p>\n<h3>Menu Offerings<\/h3>\n<p>Currently, the coffee shop serves hot and iced pour-over coffees that the team roasts in a warehouse in Moonachie. The spectrum of coffee strength includes light, medium, medium-dark, and dark roasts. In the near future, the owners hope to honor their heritage by serving Turkish coffee. They also offer espresso drinks, matcha lattes, and steeped teas. Milk options include whole, 2%, half-and-half, almond, coconut, and oat.
