The event is a great way to catch and celebrate <a href=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/bergen\/best-content-studios-new-jersey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Jersey artists<\/a> and bands, and after a successful inaugural event, Ridgewood is bringing its Porchfest back this year on Saturday, September 19th. The event has rapidly expanded in recent years and acts as a way for the community to come together and celebrate local artists. The East Side&#8217;s music will be from 1PM to 4PM, and will take place on Brookside Avenue across various porches, with the following performers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Ridgewood High School Marching Band<\/li>\n<li>The D.J.D.J. Band<\/li>\n<li>David Slomin + Waiting for Henry<\/li>\n<li>Pete Diamond<\/li>\n<li>Guitar Dave and D&#8217;Edies<\/li>\n<li>The Suburbonites<\/li>\n<li>Take 4<\/li>\n<li>The Swingcasters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The West Side will have music from 2PM to 7PM on the South Lawn of Westside Presbyterian Church (6 South Monroe Street), with the following performers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Red Machine<\/li>\n<li>Thursday Eve Collective<\/li>\n<li>Heartbreak Beat<\/li>\n<li>Tokyo Night<\/li>\n<li>The West Side Contemporary Band<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This year&#8217;s event is in partnership with the Social Services Association of Ridgewood + Vicinity (SSA) in recognition of National Hunger Action Month, and grocery gift cards are being accepted as donations. Last year&#8217;s event featured food trucks and a beer truck, but it is unknown if this year&#8217;s will.
