The restaurant did not give a reason for the closure. This marks the second Viva Margarita location to shutter in recent years. The restaurant&#8217;s remaining locations are at 774 Main Street in Hackensack, 413 Paterson Avenue in Wallington, and 2870 NJ-35 in Hazlet. <em>The Bergen County Girl<\/em> has reached out to the Viva Margarita team to learn more about its plans and will update this piece when we hear back.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>About Viva Margarita<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Viva Margarita was founded in 2016 to bring authentic Mexican cuisine to the tri-state area. Guests can choose from signature margaritas, margarita flights, mojitos, mezcal cocktails, sangria, beer, wine, and tequila and mezcal flights, along with nonalcoholic options like smoothies, horchata, and fresh lemonade. Weekly specials include $6 margaritas all day Monday, half-price tacos all day Tuesday, all-day Happy Hour Wednesday, and $6 mojitos all day Thursday, while weekday Happy Hour runs from 4PM to 8PM with half-price select appetizers and drink specials.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Closures Throughout Bergen County<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Viva Margarita\u2019s Cliffside Park location isn\u2019t the first restaurant to close its doors in Bergen County in recent months. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/bergen\/jim-dandys-closing-rutherford-nj\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jim Dandy\u2019s<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, formerly located at 102 Park Avenue in Rutherford, closed on June 28th after 40 years.
