Honey Day Caf\u00e9 is a Korean-American-inspired caf\u00e9 located at 228 Glen Rock Road, right in the middle of downtown. During her time at JP\u2019s Bagels in Hoboken, Linda saw numerous Korean-American chefs start to gain recognition and clout in the culinary industry \u2014 particularly in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hobokengirl.com\/new-york-flower-market-nyc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New York City<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 and knew that she could be a part of this success.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Read More:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thelocalgirl.com\/bergen\/bakery-ridgewood-nj-sook-bakery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This Ridgewood Bakery Has Been a Bergen County Staple Since 2011<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBefore JP\u2019s I was hoping to open a Korean caf\u00e9 but lacked the experience and the focus. Because of my unique upbringing, it was of the utmost importance that the menu was entirely authentic to who I am, the things I love, and the things I want to bring to the community,\u201d Linda said.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>The Menu<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Honey Day Caf\u00e9 is not your average coffee or breakfast spot. Not many restaurants can boast both kimchi fries alongside <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themontclairgirl.com\/unique-avocado-dishes-north-jersey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">avocado toast<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the menu. Many of the dishes are a mash-up of Linda\u2019s culture. She quickly learned that unfamiliarity would not be a concern. \u201cI was blown away that our most popular dishes are by far the Korean-influenced ones \u2014 the K-Chix and Waffles, the Croffles, Crispy Ddukbokki, Kimchi Fries, and K-Street Toast have been our best sellers since we opened!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of the American-inspired dishes on the menu include the Power Omelet and Avocado Toast. Of course, no <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">caf\u00e9<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> would be complete without morning beverages to get the day started. The Honey Day team knows what they are doing in this department. \u201cWe also make most of the syrups for our specialty lattes in-house, and we pride ourselves in our homemade honeycomb (\u201cdalgona\u201d in Korean) for the Honeycomb Latte,\u2019 Linda said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Worth noting as well is the tasty <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themontclairgirl.com\/best-kids-menus-essex-county-restaurants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kid\u2019s menu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The Funfetti Waffle Sticks are four-year-old approved with the ever-sought-after acclaim of two (very sticky) thumbs up.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>The Team<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customer service is key in the restaurant industry and Honey Day has woven this into its mission. The team at Honey Day Caf\u00e9 ensures that each guest has the best experience possible. \u201cThe Honey Day team prides itself in EXCELLENT customer service and a wonderfully diverse staff,\u201d Linda said.
