These aggressive plants are choking out native species, damaging ecosystems, and threatening the forest&#8217;s natural balance.<\/p>\n<p>Twice a month, our Forest Defenders team gathers to clear out these invaders and restore the health of the woodlands. You\u2019ll learn how to identify invasive species and work side-by-side with our expert Land Manager using safe and effective removal techniques. It\u2019s a hands-on, high-impact way to make a real difference in local conservation\u2014and it\u2019s more fun than you think!<\/p>\n<p>Forest Defenders welcomes adults, teens, and families\u2014children 15 and under must be accompanied by a guardian. All hours count toward school or community service requirements. Activities take place entirely outdoors, so please dress for the weather and terrain.
